5 Quick & Easy Breakfast Ideas

The morning rush before school or work can leave many people running out the door with a piece of toast or a museli bar in hand, but by 10am your already starving and in dire need of a mid-morning snack. 

These 5 quick & easy breakfast treats save you precious time and will keep you going all day long !

1. Banana and Peanut Butter on Toast

Instead of your boring peanut butter toast, sweeten things up with 1/2 a banana sliced with a sprinkling of chia seeds. 

2. Morning Berry Parfait

This quick yogurt mix is your number one go to if you need to eat on the go. Because this parfait can be layered into a glass jar you can take it with you without making a mess. All this breakfast snack requires are berries of your choice and plain yogurt, then start layering !

3. Avocado on Toast

As simple as it sounds, spreading some avocado on your toast for breakfast will boost your nutrients and help you feel fuller for longer. Add salt and pepper to add extra flavour!

4. Customised Instant Oatmeal

This treat needs a little more preparation than our other quick snacks, but it's well worth it. The night before pour a portion of oatmeal into a zip lock bag, add your choice of fruit, nuts and other toppings, and store in the fridge overnight. The next day all you need to do is add milk or water, and microwave !

5. Berry and Oatmeal Microwave Muffin

There easy to make and creates little mess in the kitchen. Add 1/4 cup of quick oats, 1 egg, a  handful of berries or fruit of your choice and a pinch of brown sugar into a microwave safe mug. Mix together until combined and then microwave for 1 minute on high. Keep cooking for 30 second intervals if the the muffin looks too soft. Continue this until your muffin is as firm as you'd like it!
