The all-new Range Rover Velar has been released and it's set to impress

The Range Rover Velar leads the way in auto mobile design with its slick new minimalist look providing greater aerodynamics with a simplicity that exudes confidence and individuality. The distinctive design originates from the front bumper extending to the rear of the vehicle uninterrupted with its flush door handles extending only as needed.

Stepping into the future, the Velar has integrated the newest driver aid automation systems with Land Rovers patented hill decent controls system, automatic air suspension, terrain assist, tow assist and parking assist. To increase safety on highways, it also has autonomous emergency braking, lane departure assist and speed limited cruise control.

Along side this, the new Velar boots an impressive meridian 12 speaker sound system connected to your smart phone or smart watch via its state of the art dual screen infotainment system. Its technology doesn't stop there with its new heads up display and interactive driver display embedded into the dash, and captive steering wheel controls providing the driver with the ultimate control.

For those who are more concerned with whats under the hood, the Velar does well to impress hosting 3.0 litre V6 supercharged petrol engine or for the more environmentally friendly a 3.0 litre twin-turbo charged diesel engine. The petrol engine has a slightly higher top speed of 250kmph and faster acceleration going form 0-100kmph in 6.5, seconds compared to the diesels top speed of 250kmph with a 0-100kmph time of 6.5. Either is set to impress for this mid sized SUV more then capable of dropping the kids off to school.

Beside all of its new features the Velar still holds high in Land Rovers traditional standards with its more than impressive off road capabilities and panoramic moon roof, putting it in the running to be one of the best SUV's this year.
