WOODEN WIDE TOOTH COMBS ARE THE BEST

Wooden wide-tooth comb is the best option to detangle your hair for both dry and damp hair rather than using a brush.

USE A LOT OF CONDITIONER

Apply a good amount of conditioner to keep the tangles away. Once it is applied, let it stay for a good 2-5 minutes and then use the wooden wide-tooth comb to run the conditioner through your hair. This will help in loosening the knots. Don't forget to apply it to the ends of your hair (They need that extra protection too).

Never apply conditioner on the scalp.

START FROM THE BOTTOM

The ideal way to comb your hair is from your roots to the tip. Start by combing the bottom few inches of your hair, then move upward and then comb it down all the way.

DON'T FORCE IT

Nobody's hair is so strong that it won't break when you force it through. So just work slowly and gently to minimize roughing up the hair's cuticle, which can lead to breakage. Be gentle.

USE YOUR FINGERS

Your fingers can untangle knots in ways that you can't imagine. Gently pull apart the tangles strands. Take your time. Once you have got it mostly done, you can then spray or apply detangling serums and go in with your comb to smooth things out.
