These pictures will leave you amazed and will surely make you think 'Our earth has some incredibly beautiful yet unrealistic places which are hard to imagine. It's insane!'

 

1. LAKE HILLIER, AUSTRALIA

It is 2000 ft in length and 820 ft in width. The surprising fact is that the pink color of the water does not changeeven when it is taken into a container.

Despite the high salt content levels, it is safe to swim in the lake. However, there are very few ways to reach Lake Hillier. Helicopter is one of the most common methods of travel.

2. THE ENCHANTED WELL, BRAZIL

This giant pool is 120 ft deep and the water is so transparent that the rocks and the ancients tree trunks are visible at the bottom.

3. ZHANGYE DANXIA LANDFORM IN GANSU, CHINA

These mountains have unusual color formations. They vary in terms of colors and this is due to the red sandstone and mineral deposits laid down over 24 million yers.

4. TIANZI MOUNTAINS, CHINA

They are formed under the water 380 million years ago. Water ate up the soft sandstone leaving these pillars behind. Some of which have reached 4000 ft above sea level. 

These are 3000 giant structures sread across just 16500 acres land. Beautiful but very isolated.


5. CHAMPAGNE POOL, WAIOTAPU, NEW ZEALAND

The Champagne pool is derived from the abundant efflux of carbon dioxide, similar to a glass of bubbling champagne. 

6. GLASS TO HELL, DERWEZE, TURKMENISTAN

This place has been ablaze for 41 years. Can you believe that? 

It's glow can be seen from miles once the sun sets. 

197 feet in diameter and 70 feet deep. 

This is not a natural phenomenon. The crater is the result of a soviet gas exploration accident that occurred in 1971. During drilling a soviet rig fell into an underground cavern and punctured the earth, releasing noxious gas into the air. To avoid an even greater environmental disaster, the Soviets set the flame believing it would burn off in a few days - it has been burning ever since. 

That is shocking!

7. NAICA MINE, MEXICO

This cave house 36 pillars of solid crystals. It was discovered for about half a million years. 


8. GRAND PRISMATIC SPRING IN YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, USA

It is 300 feet in diameter. It is the largest hot spring in United States and third largest in the world. The color matches that of a rainbow. 

The place looks as if it is caught on fire. It's surprising. 


9. DEADVLEI, NAMIB DESERT, NAMIBIA

These trees have turned into pitch black due to the intense sunrays. It is surrounded by a vast dessert. 

There was a river that passed from this dessert but is no longer there. The drought hit the area.


10.  ABRAHAM LAKE, CANADA

Here bubbles get frozen right underneath the surface. It is quite scary as you can see cracks everywhere and you can see the darkness of the lake bottom through the glass surface.

Have a look at the picture once again and imagine walking on this lake and it is surely going to scare you as you can see the darkness of the lake all the way down.


11. GLOWWORM CAVE IN WAITAMO, NEW ZEALAND

It is quite a fairytale experience once you enter the cave as these are tiny moving glowworms that live in the caves.


12. DALLOL VOLCANO, ETHIOPIA

Salt appears on the surface and crystallizes rapidly in bizarre forms. Sometimes the pillars of salt reaches 40 meters in height.

It is difficult to reach here.


13.  PAMUKKALE, TURKEY

Pamukkale means 'cotton castle' in Turkish. 


14. EYE OF SAHARA, AFRICA

It is 40 kms in diameter.  Surprisingly it is equidistant to each other.
